RABs first brew

After a good many set backs along the way we finally got brewing on the 4th February 2016.  We cooked up a Double Tap, mainly as Jim knows the beer so well that he would be able to tell if anything went wrong mid process, instead of having to wait 6 weeks or so for it to come into condition.


We were lucky, to be fair, that the brew day went well and we got everything spot on, not a bad effort as Jim had to guess the brew house efficiency and  was only 3% out.  Jim got the feeling that David hadn’t quite expected the day to be quite as tiring as it was, or as long.  A new appreciation of beer was experienced by David on that day.  This first brew day was quickly followed on the 10th February and 15th February with another Double tap and the first Golden Shot. deliveries of which started in March 2016.
